Riding high on a wave of creativity, I dove head first into a journey that danced between pixels and paint where I could add a dash of my own unique flavor. It all began in the early 2000s with my fascination for graphic design, crafting intricate digital clothing for online social simulation platforms.
Soon, my canvas expanded as I delved into the realm of event marketing, creating dope flyers for party promoters. Additionally, I coded various aesthetically pleasing website designs for business and personal user profiles online. Yet the call of a different muse approached me one night in a dream, leading me down a lyrical path as I dabbled in the world of rap music, channeling my thoughts and emotions into a rhythmic expression for a brief but intense period.
With faith in my creative visions, I continued to align with my passion and be a vessel. Transitioning from digital design to tangible expression, I transformed my digital artwork into wearable masterpieces and clothing canvases that screamed individuality – but that wasn’t enough, I felt I had to take it to the next level.
Bringing my art to life, I now prevail as a professional in the world of makeup, bringing even more energy with a brush in hand and a palette of endless possibilities! On this amazing journey, I enhance the beauty of faces with the same ardor and creativity that fueled my artistic evolution, and you know, being black, beautiful, proud, and about my business, I navigate the hustle by bringing authentic culture to everything I touch.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Navigating the wild ride of entrepreneurship, I faced challenges that would make even the fiercest boss babe break a sweat. Balancing the grind of maintaining a beauty business, slaying faces as a makeup artist, and working for prestigious, well-known cosmetic brands, traveling to different locations across the Metro and surrounding cities of Atlanta, all while finalizing my college education for my coveted IT degree. Yeah, it’s like spinning plates while dancing in stilettos, but honey, I own every step of that hustle!
Of course, like any artist or entrepreneur, there are times of abundance when appointments overflow and other periods where bookings come and go, so it was important for me to maintain multiple forms of income. Despite mastering the ever-changing algorithms of social media and riding the rollercoaster of clientele highs and lows, I strut through it all with style and grace because I know with God by my side, I’m unstoppable!

It’s hard to choose one thing to be most proud of, but I take immense pride in my ability to thrive in multiple creative fields while pursuing my education. Balancing the demands of entrepreneurship, artistic expression, and academic achievement hasn’t always been easy, but it’s a testament to my determination, passion, and integrity.

My love for designing nails is immense! Beyond my expertise in makeup artistry and digital design, I have a passion for creating stunning nail designs that complement my overall aesthetic. I also am and have been a big fan (for several years) of playing simulated games like “The Sims”, where I can unleash my creativity in virtual worlds. These interests add depth to my personality and inspire me to bring even more creativity into everything that I do.
