Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Travis. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Tiffany Travis, Chef Owner of Travaganza Catering and Events and Founder of Women From Wherever Ministries.
Tiffany, a native of Rochester, New York began her passion for food over 30 years ago as a youth in the kitchen with her mother preparing their favorite Davis holiday family traditions. Soon, Tiffany developed her own culinary style and began preparing succulent dishes for family & friends and many events throughout US cities due to job relocations.
Tiffany a 20-year corporate professional in the Media and Customer Loyalty space decided to relocate to sunny California, transitioning full-time into culinary & event planning, after a post-pandemic company downsizing turning her passion into a fulfilling career she loves. Tiffany resides in Atlanta, GA, and is the mother of 3 amazing children Frank 29, Mykala 22, Je’Tehia 19, and 4 sweet grandchildren.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Tiffany is an energetic and inspiring leader who is a passionate culinary entrepreneur, business professional, community activist, and motivational speaker, with a determined focus on developing holistically. Over 25 years ago, her life testimony and past experiences with abuse, divorce and single parenting where her pain and powerlessness became a thing of the past when she channeled her energy into succeeding at the highest level.
Tiffany a shining example of persistence, integrity, and the 24/7 grind, Tiffany seeks to expand her catering company’s operations and continues to find creative ways to share her gift with the world through meal prep, community events/pop-ups, corporate events, catering, personal chef services, culinary education (private, class, school-aged), and serves as executive chef at her church Light of Joy in Riverdale, GA.
Tiffany believes her experiences; God will use to be a witness to others with similar challenges that there is a way out through a Firm spiritual foundation, support, love, and determination. Tiffany’s motto is: “There’s joy in the journey.” Tiffany received her degree from Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Culinary Arts and Operations. She has studied at the University of Phoenix seeking a bachelor’s degree in business science and organizational leadership.
In addition, Tiffany is a graduate of the United Way African American Leadership development program in 2011, she holds membership in the National Society of Leadership and Success on behalf of the University of Phoenix, a fellow of the National Woman in Business Association, Women in Cable telecommunications organization and Cabinet member with Toastmasters International and thirty-year thespian of the Royal Shakespeare Academy of London England.

Tiffany is committed to the success of the community and looks to continue philanthropy efforts from her organization Women from Wherever Ministries and Her foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2010, providing advocacy and resources for women, assisting them in their personal/professional development, spirituality, and mental and physical growth.
Women From Wherever is actively involved in street ministry, homeless advocacy, clothing programs, food drives, health seminars, beauty workshops, career counseling. Currently, Tiffany plans to partner Travaganza Catering & Events and Women from Wherever Ministries to host a culinary camp for girls ages 13-17 in the summer of 2024 and is currently seeking investors, sponsors, and donations for this labor of love and business expansion of the catering company.
