Hi Carlos, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I started by following my dream by my available means. I believed that starting my own business was the way to continue the lifestyle I lived in a sustainable manner.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been the smoothest road.
The biggest struggle I’ve had along the way has been managing my expectations. Until you really are doing the work and are in the thick of things, it’s hard to know what you’re capable of and what needs to be done.

Prime Vice Studios, LLC is the premier sequential art company, intellectual development agency, and creator trainer. PVS specializes in turning ideas into assets by means of creative IPs.
We are known for being original, scrappy, and easy to work with. Our mission to help others own their narratives and empower them through creativity sets us apart from others. I am proud that the PVS brand stands for quality, freedom, fun, and ownership and stands on the merits of good work.
I want Voyage readers to know that we offer a variety of services, which include the processing, design, and launch of original IPs, workshops for aspiring creators, and the sales of our own IP and content, which includes books and various merchandise. What are your plans for the future?
The future plans for PVS involve putting out more content for our audience, working with schools so that students can learn comic creation to tell their own stories, and offering our own courses in IP development in an online format to have a broader reach with people that want to connect with PVS.
