Check Out Alicia Ugarte’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alicia Ugarte.

Alicia Ugarte

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Since I was a little girl, I have always been fascinated by seeing actors on TV and models in magazines, dreaming of one day seeing myself in those roles. My dream became a reality, and I was blessed with the opportunity to do so. I started acting and modeling in 2014, and I fell in love with it. I was excited about all the opportunities I was getting. Sadly, it was cut short. In 2016 after the birth of my daughter I went into severe septic shock and cardiac arrest, I was on a coma for almost two weeks and had to be taught how to walk all over again, which took me about a year. Once I gained my strength and was able to walk on my own, I decided to turn my negative into a positive because I knew that I had my daughter looking up to me and that I could not give up, so I decided to go back to school and I graduated with honors and became a Registered Nurse. I knew I wanted to still pursue my other dream of acting and modeling, so I got back on track and have been blessed with lots of opportunities, and I’m so proud to say that my daughter does acting and modeling as well, and we’ve been blessed to get to work on set together many times. I always have this belief that if you want something bad you have to keep trying and trying and never quit until you see your dreams come true.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My biggest challenge was having to learn to walk again. There were lots of times when I felt defeated and like I would never be able to walk again, but giving up was never an option. I’m so glad that God, my daughter, and loved ones gave me the strength to keep going and move forward.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have been blessed to have been part of TV shows and films, featured in magazines and on billboards. I’m honestly proud of all my work because it has helped me better my craft. What sets me apart is my dedication to ensuring everyone wins. I strive to empower and uplift others, making success a collective achievement.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I envision myself becoming the best version of myself and landing a significant role in a big film or securing a recurring role on a major TV show. I’m dedicated to refining and perfecting my craft to achieve this goal.
