Hi Megan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hey there, thanks so much for taking interest in me. I am honored to be here! I am a California native who enjoys good food, good people, and the small things in life. I believe we get what we put out, and I live daily with an attitude of gratitude. Although from Cali, I have always had Georgia on my mind. I am a proud Alpharetta resident, a dog mom, and engaged to a very handsome Atlanta chef. A little backstory: My love for Alpharetta began during visits to my best friend Nicole, who was fortunate enough to call Georgia home for many years. After taking countless trips to visit her, I knew I had found my happy place!
Tragically, Nicole passed away in 2020 after a hard battle with rare cancer, leaving a void in many people’s lives. Wanting to be closer to her family and her unwavering love for the Peach State inspired me to call it home. In honor of Nicole’s memory, months after her passing, I picked up and moved here, not knowing much about what I was to do next. That is when I decided to start All Things Alpharetta, a way to pay tribute to my beautiful friend and honor the memories we had here while also becoming a guide for those who have also moved here and even those who have lived here their whole lives. All things started as a hobby and a way to bring light to the magic and beauty of this incredible community. However, over time it has grown and transformed into so much more than just that! Expanding beyond our city limits to reach a larger audience in the surrounding areas. Today, we’re a go-to source for discovering the best places to eat, drink, sleep, shop, and explore! We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with numerous small businesses, spotlighting their products and services to foster growth.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly, it has been very smooth. This area has been so welcoming to me and supportive of my business. All of my business is referral-based and from word of mouth. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that those I have worked with were pleased enough to recommend me to someone else. It also confirms that I am in alignment with my assignment and I couldn’t be more grateful!

With a solid background in sales and marketing spanning 15 years, I am passionate about empowering small businesses to succeed. I channel my expertise in marketing, social media management, and community connections to fuel the growth of local small businesses.

I believe that rejection is redirection! There is no such thing as bad luck, just bad timing. What is meant for me will never miss me, and I believe that as long as I focus on what’s going right in my life, the universe will continue to bless me with more of it.
