Hi Joey, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Wow, where to begin! Life is an amazing journey that will often lead us to people, places, and experiences we had no plans for. Photography, and later wedding photography, was just one random station in my life journey that had an incredible impact on shaping my today and tomorrow. When I was just about 5 years old, I didn’t realize that little film camera or toy that I was playing with would have this much influence in shaping my future as a person and a professional.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As many have said, obstacles will lead to greatness. I was not always the luckiest person in the room, the street, or possibly the city! But those negative experiences taught me to be prepared and have multiple plans for the worst-case scenario. Amazingly, this is one of the main reasons for my professional success, which has led us to be one of Atlanta’s top wedding photographers.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Over the past 10 years, we have managed to successfully photograph and film over 300 weddings in the Atlanta area and have quickly become one of Atlanta’s best wedding photographers. We have been honored and humbled by all the beautiful couples who have trusted us to capture their life’s most amazing moments and will continue to do so as long as we can.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
COVID will remain one of the saddest tragedies for anyone who lived through it, with many beautiful lives lost. This Panadec has also hit the wedding industry the hardest, with many couples having to delay or cancel their big day. As professionals, this has taught us to be more understanding and to be prepared financially and emotionally for life’s unexpected events.
