Absolutely, I’d love to share my story. My journey toward creating Relentless Health Specialists is deeply intertwined with my personal life experiences. From a young age, I had dreams of becoming a pediatrician. I was a straight-A student, a member of the National Honor Society, and earned numerous scholarships and merit-based awards. But life had other plans for me.
At 21, I found myself a single mother of three—Alexander, Anaya, and Antwan. With no resources or support to pursue college right after high school, I had to put my dreams on hold and face the reality of needing to support my family. So, I chose a practical path and attended a trade school for medical assisting, hoping to work my way up in the healthcare industry.
For over two decades, I dedicated myself to the field of medical assisting. I grew not just in my technical skills but also in leadership and mentorship roles. I emphasized the importance of our role in patient satisfaction and took pride in our collective skill set. But throughout my career, I noticed a critical gap: many medical assistants struggled with career advancement due to a lack of resources and support. This realization sparked a fire in me to make a difference.
The motivation behind starting Relentless Health Specialists came from a deeply personal place. Raising my children on a medical assistant’s salary, I understood the struggles of providing for a family with limited means. This experience ignited a passion within me to give back and create better opportunities not just for my children but for others facing similar challenges. It’s about creating a legacy, not only for my family but for the community.
Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. There were significant hurdles, especially in securing funding for a physical location and necessary supplies. But these challenges only fueled my determination. The name “Relentless” reflects my unwavering commitment and tenacity. My faith in God has been a big source of strength, helping me push through tough times and keep moving forward. Relentless Health Specialists is driven by a relentless spirit to empower, educate, and elevate those around us. Our story is one of overcoming adversity, embracing challenges, and transforming them into opportunities for growth and impact.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. The journey to establishing Relentless Health Specialists has been filled with challenges and obstacles. One of the biggest struggles was securing adequate funding for a physical location and the necessary supplies and equipment. As a single mother who recently lost her job due to departmental cuts, my personal financial constraints added another layer of complexity to this challenge.
Another significant hurdle was balancing my responsibilities as a mother with my ambitions as an entrepreneur. Raising my children and ensuring they had everything they needed while building a business from the ground up required a tremendous amount of time, energy, and dedication. There were many late nights and early mornings and moments when I questioned whether I could juggle it all.
Building a business in the healthcare industry also came with its own set of challenges. Navigating regulations, maintaining high standards of service, and establishing a reputation in a competitive field required resilience and adaptability. There were times when progress seemed slow, and setbacks felt discouraging.
Despite these challenges, my determination and faith in God kept me going. I believed in the vision of Relentless Health Specialists and the impact it could have on the community. The support from my children, who are my biggest motivation, and the encouragement from those who believed in my mission helped me push through the tough times.
These struggles have only made me more relentless in my pursuit of creating a better future for others. They taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, resilience, and the importance of having a strong support system. The road has been anything but smooth, but each challenge has strengthened my resolve to make a difference through Relentless Health Specialists.

Yes Sure! I’d love to share more about my work. I have dedicated the past 21 years to my career as a certified clinical medical assistant (CCMA), and it has been an incredibly rewarding journey. My experience extends across various healthcare specialties, where I’ve honed my skills and developed a deep understanding of patient care, medical procedures, and healthcare administration.
In addition to my clinical expertise, I’ve also grown significantly in healthcare leadership. I’ve taken on roles that emphasized the importance of our contributions to patient satisfaction and overall healthcare delivery. One of my proudest achievements in this realm was creating and implementing an onboarding program as a Medical Assistant Supervisor. This program, introduced in one of Philadelphia’s top local hospitals, spanned 17 outpatient practices, reduced employee turnover by 20%, and significantly improved morale and business operations.
Beyond my clinical and leadership roles, I’m also a certified career coach and professional development educator. As The Medical Assistant Expert, I’ve made it my mission to empower other medical assistants by providing them with the resources, guidance, and support they need to advance their careers. This mission led to the creation of The MA Moguls™️, a career network dedicated to supporting and uplifting medical assistants. The MA Moguls™️ is a community where medical assistants can connect, share experiences, and access professional development opportunities.
I started this personal brand because I recognized a critical gap in career development opportunities for medical assistants. Many talented professionals were struggling to find growth and advancement in their careers, and I wanted to change that. Through The Medical Assistant Expert and The MA Moguls™️, I offer coaching, professional development education, and mentorship to help medical assistants discover and harness their unique capabilities. My goal is to be their voice of reason and strength, empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.
What sets me apart from others is my holistic approach to healthcare and professional development. I’m not just focused on clinical skills; I’m dedicated to the overall growth and empowerment of medical assistants. My expertise spans health, onboarding, retention, and community, allowing me to address various aspects of their professional journey.
I’m most proud of the impact I’ve had on the lives of those I’ve mentored and coached. Seeing medical assistants gain confidence, advance in their careers, and achieve their goals is incredibly fulfilling. My relentless commitment to their success is what drives me every day.

Success means seeing the people I’ve mentored and coached grow, thrive, and achieve their own dreams. It’s about creating opportunities for those who might not have had them otherwise and watching them succeed because of the support and guidance I’ve provided.
As The Medical Assistant Expert, my success is measured by the growth and advancement of the medical assistants I work with. When they tell me how my coaching has helped them secure promotions, gain new skills, or simply feel more confident in their roles, I know I’ve succeeded. Their victories are my victories.
On a personal level, success is also about balancing my professional ambitions with my responsibilities as a mother. Raising my children—Alexander, Anaya, Antwan, and Tristan—while building a business has been challenging, but their happiness and well-being are the ultimate success to me. Knowing that I’m setting a positive example for them and providing them with opportunities I didn’t have is incredibly fulfilling.
