Today we’d like to introduce you to Jesse Biondi.
Hi Jesse, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story is one that has taken many twists and turns over the years. I’ve been in several different careers, all vastly different, while at the same time, quite similar.
I grew up with a love for music, excelling in my orchestra classes and rocking out with my bands. I graduated from college with a degree in music with an emphasis in cello and split my time between being a traveling/touring musician and pastoral staff at a church where I led the music and media programs. It was here that I developed my skills for graphic design, video editing, web design, event management, and so much more.
Years later, I would find myself teaching middle school orchestra and chorus. This is where I really refined my skills for taking raw material and turning it into something that was appealing. I learned to study my demographics and figure out what music would be best for the kids and families in my community. I learned how to lead teams and to think creatively. I learned the power of effective communication as I tried to make lofty concepts relevant to a middle school audience. I had no idea at the time, but I had spent my professional life training to be in marketing.
It was in 2020 that I met my now-wife, Melissa LeEllen Biondi. She founded Creative Global Entertainment back in 2009 and was involved in many huge go-to-market campaigns for companies like Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Delta, and many other Fortune 500 companies. When we met, we decided to work together, yet we had to shift as the pandemic had stopped all the experiential events that she was used to working in. We took our collective skills and went into the digital space, developing go-to-market strategies for businesses of all sizes. In 2023, we rebranded the company as Creative Global Branding as co-CEOs and have since been elevating the digital fingerprint of various companies across multiple industries.
When I’m not helping our clients to grow their businesses, I’m producing music for myself and other artists. My wife and I also do couplepreneur coaching for those couples who want to go into business together but might not know where to start or how to work with each other. We focus our lives on spreading positivity and hope into a world where we believe that community is the new currency. We value collaboration over competition and believe that we can create a new world where we come together to help each other grow and succeed.
Throughout the process of building Creative Global, we had it on our hearts to find a way to give back to our community and the world. That is why we founded the ALL OK Movement. ALL OK is a way to give people resources in order to be healthy mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We have also partnered with the Powerful Project, and our goal is to make a huge difference in the lives of people as they become closer and closer to being truly ALL OK!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being an entrepreneur has absolutely not been a smooth road. In fact, it has been one of the hardest paths that I’ve ever walked down, with setbacks and failures, and moments of doubt along the way. I’ve felt like giving up many times but have always stuck it out.
There were moments where we had to make hard choices as a business. When we first started, we had to figure out who we wanted to be as a company, overcome any of our own insecurities as business owners, and figure out our worth. We took on clients that were extremely demanding and time-consuming for very little pay. We were working ourselves towards major burnout with nearly nothing to show for it. We had very tough decisions to make, but we knew they had to be made.
We let go of a few clients that were draining our energy even though we couldn’t afford to. We took a long hard look at who we were as a company and who we wanted to be. After much trial and error, we really figured out not only where our strengths were but also what made us happiest to do. Much of what people forget is that we should enjoy our day-to-day life. Life is too short to spend working at something that you hate. As we have been building this business, we are making sure to focus it around our skills AND our passions because in order for our clients to be as successful as they can be, we have to love what we do every day (and we do)!
Many times during this stage, we debated going back into corporate jobs and giving up CGB, especially as the economy got worse and worse. I am so thankful that we hung in there. If there is one thing my wife and I have, it is resilience. At the end of the day, you have to figure out what you’re made of and hang on to your dreams. Too many people give up, and we are thriving now because we never did.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Creative Global Branding?
Creative Global Branding is a holistic brand elevation marketing company that believes in collaboration over competition. We help our success partners to strategize their go-to market plan and enhance their digital fingerprint across multiple platforms and through various methods.
We understand that every single business is different, that their customers vary drastically, and that each product or service is unique in its own way. We don’t offer cookie-cutter solutions. We truly hear our clients, analyze their business, their goals, and the demographics and psychographics of their ideal client to come up with a plan that will give them maximum exposure and help them to reach their goals as quickly as possible.
At CGB, we take a unique approach to marketing by looking at it through a different lens. Our COO, Dr. Angela Todd, is a doctor in psychology and provides a valuable insight into the minds of consumers. With the vast experience that my wife and I have had, coupled with the in-depth analysis that we do, our team can come up with high-impact solutions for any industry.
Creative Global strives to only work with businesses that have ethical practices and that want to see positive change in the world. We believe that every person on this earth is valuable and deserves to be treated fairly. We proudly promote brands that are making this world a little bit brighter. We have giant goals of where we want to be as a company because we believe that we can make a real difference in corporate America and help people to find joy in the work that they do.
We offer consultive services that really help to define and unite marketing efforts across the board. Depending on the client’s needs, we also have an extensive list of done-for-you services as well for those business owners that may not have a team in place. We figure out the best places for our clients to market, and then we help see the plan come to life. Above all, we believe in community and look forward to seeing how we shape our future together!
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Atlanta has some really amazing history and very diverse areas throughout the greater Atlanta area. With all of its sub-regions, you can find nearly anything you could want or need somewhere in the city. It has great theaters, clubs, restaurants, attractions, and champion sports teams. You would be hard-pressed to find yourself bored in a city like Atlanta. We even have our own amusement park!
I have found some of the best food, seen the best concerts, and had the most fun out in Atlanta. There is an insane amount of talent in this city. No wonder it’s the hub for so many film productions. Atlanta has a rich diversity when it comes to the arts and entertainment can be found around every corner.
But like with most great cities, you also have the downsides. Traffic being one of the worst ones. To get anywhere in the city, plan for at least an hour to be safe. The amount of traffic accidents that we have daily is extremely high and has become a regular part of life for the regular citygoer.
Another major issue facing Atlanta is the cost of living. Housing prices are extremely high, resulting in many people becoming un-homed. We’ve seen crime rates go up, and most people don’t feel safe leaving anything in their vehicles anymore. We are home to one of the largest child trafficking networks in the USA, and there are reports of women being stalked regularly at stores and gas stations. While we have many amazing aspects to our city, much could be done to improve it. We need more resources for those that need mental health services and affordable housing for everyone in this tough economy.
