Rising Stars: Meet Tiffany, Veronica, Drea A. of Atlanta GA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany, Veronica, Drea A.

Hi Tiffany, Veronica, Drea, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We are a mother Daughter Trio from Brooklyn, New York. We moved to Atlanta 11 years ago. We want to bring not only the culture of New York to Atlanta but also our nationalities. My mother is African American, Puerto Rican, and Indian. My dad is Trinidadian. We incorporate all ethnicities in our meals. We cook soul food, Hispanic foods, Caribbean food, and seafood because of our love for it. We’ve always heard “You’re talent is God’s gift to you, What you do with it is your gift back to God”. We honor God with every meal we cook. We want to make sure he is represented in our business because we wouldn’t be without him. We think that’s what set us apart. We watched my grandmother cook. She cooked every Sunday and it brought the whole family together. Cooking was her love Language, and it is now ours. She would always say the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach lol. Glory in the bible means “The manifesting of God’s presence”. My grandmother’s name is Gloria. We dropped the A in Gloria and changed the Y in Glory to an I. God put it in my heart to make that the name of the business. I added Eats and Glori Eats was birthed!
We are working on trying to cater full time and eventually a open restaurants. We’re building our clients now and appreciate every opportunity God Blessed us with .

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not have been smooth at all!

Veronica: I believe the struggle is building clientele especially being in a state where you are not from.

Tiffany: It’s been a struggle with starting and building a business in the times we are in now. A time of inflation where its hard to stay ahead. It takes a lot of sacrifices to be your own boss.

Andrea: The struggle has definitely been time. We work full time jobs. Trying to work, take care of home, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and running a business is extremely hard but you have to make sure you put that time and dedication into what your dreams.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are a family catering business. We specialize in making the most delicious meals.

Veronica: I’m most proud of meeting new people and hearing this reactions to our food. We cater to our customers. We cook what they love and desire the most. People can taste that in our cooking.

Tiffany: I have to say my mac and cheese has been a big hit on our menu. I was even told that I can’t put out a menu without Mac and cheese on it lol. All of our food is made with love and you can tell.

Drea: I love that we can take what our family is known for to the next level. What sets us apart from others is we do a mix of different foods for different cultures. We make it hard to think of somewhere else to go and get food.

How do you think about luck?
There is absolute no bad luck at all. We have positive feedback from our loyal customers. God is the head couch in our business and he makes sures we know.
