Today we’d like to introduce you to Travis Grace
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story is a simple one. I grew up in a musical family which allowed me to explore my musical interest until the present day. I have traveled the world over and i find that we all have common ties through music. Music is one of the only elements that transcend all lines economically, racial, etc. So its a pretty powerful tool that we must pay attention to and be careful of the messages we are trying to convey through music.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Life and music is like a roller coaster. There have definitely been some downs as well as good days. Had it not been for the music i would have given up a long time ago. The music is what allow me to escape into my safe place or therapy so to speak. Its nothing like being able to wake up everyday a be able to do what you love to day. I love the creative process and what the Most High has allowed me to do. The down days is when i depend on Him the most.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I think im most proud of my grind and unwillingness to quit, give up, or break. The trait has been the driving point of my camp and the ones around me. We don’t stop until our projects and goals are met. I cant say how different we are but i can say that we are unique in what we do and we have generated a sound that is uniquely our own and do not sound like anyone else, so we offer a musical experience that’s new and fresh. We have 4 Billboard and 6 iTunes Plaques to date so we would like to think we are on the right path.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love the diversity and the cultural explosion which allow a person to learn something new about others. Its important that we understand why people do the things they. On the flip im a loner and must be alone at times to process things around me. So diversity yes, crowds no.
