Andrew Thompson is a passionate, insight-driven Art Director/Designer/Illustrator with 15+ years of experience creating award-winning work for high-profile clients. He works as a Freelance Senior Art Director/Associate Creative Director in the Advertising Industry.
Designing apparel for companies and celebrities involves a blend of creativity, brand alignment, and attention to detail. For companies, the focus is on creating cohesive designs that reflect the brand’s identity and values, ensuring the apparel communicates the company’s message effectively.
This may include corporate uniforms, promotional clothing, or merchandise. For celebrities, the designs are more personalized, aiming to capture their unique style and public persona. The process requires close collaboration with clients to understand their vision, followed by a meticulous selection of fabrics, colors, and styles that not only fit but also enhance the wearer’s image, often setting new fashion trends.
Outside of creative work, Andrew is an Avid fan of old-school video games, hockey, and streetwear.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Some of the challenges when I first started include
- Finding a sales rep
- Finding a quality printer
- Finding great PR
- Finding dedicated influencers

Andrew is also a designer as well an award winning illustrator. He recently had the opportunity to serve and judge the ADC awards.
Outside of creative work, Andrew is an Avid fan of old-school video games, hockey, and streetwear.
What matters most to you?
My family and serving the Lord God. God has given me the tools to make an impact on society and all my talent. My wife, Jasbenz, has been my biggest supporter. I wouldn’t be here today without her.
