Today we’d like to introduce you to Denali GEESH!
Denali, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my brand and business in my hometown of Boston, Ma. GEESH! Was something I always said in my music but I never truly had a meaning behind it. The deeper I got into music, the more I grew and the more people gravitated to me. I eventually started getting T-shirts made for my supporters which is where the society came into place. My supporters used to ask me all the time what does GEESH! Mean so I created the meaning of Gradually Everyone Eats So Honor! Which translates into anyone chasing a dream consistently will achieve that goal. It resonated and stuck with people which helped me grow from making a few T-shirts every time I performed into a clothing line and a place for people to feel united. I’ve been at this now for about 8 years and still growing.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s still a learning process every single day. Smooth roads don’t always create the knowledge you need to know but I’ve appreciated every bump and learning curve so I can help someone else pave a smooth road in the future. But it has not been smooth but it’s been worth it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a music artist and I also create the majority of the designs I use for the brand. I still do both! I am well known as Denali GEESH! The artist but that has been transitioning a lot because new people often meet me as Denali the clothing guy initially before Denali the artist. Overall I am grateful and proud to be able to grasp the community from both angles and add an impact. All I ever wanted to do was help and impact positively.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Always have security. Whatever that may mean for YOU! Whether it’s financial security, family, mental or even just knowing your next 3 moves. You must have some type of safety net whenever the next crisis happens. It’s inevitable.
