Meet Jennifer McCarren, Kristin Fuller, Amanda Abelita and Maxine Piccinich

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer McCarren, Kristin Fuller, Amanda Abelita and Maxine Piccinich.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
Freckled Flower Photography specializes in newborn, child and family photography in North Atlanta, Georgia locations such as Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Marietta and Canton.

I find natural-light photography, set in unique locations around North Atlanta, to be the best way to put families at ease and create an experience that is both magical and memorable. A professional photo session with me will be fun and even a little bit silly – it’s not a time for stress! To ensure this is the case, I offer consulting prior to the session to learn about your family and discuss expectations. After the session, I can help you design tasteful galleries for your home so you can enjoy the memories every day. (Rather than tucking them away on your hard-drive!)

We also work with other photographers, designers and acting/modeling groups such as Abelita-Burns PR firm on special projects. In this feature, we are focusing on one particular local project that received notable attention.

Please tell us about your art.
For this particular project a bunch of artists joined together to create something truly unique and inspiring.
As artists, we find ourselves needing to create and capture the beauty around us. Sometimes we can take the time to participate in a project that is conceptually driven from start to finish with this team of artists. The magic that happens when you have a room full of talent can be overwhelming and certainly assist with the creative inspiration needed in this industry.

For this project, Amanda Abelita came up with a Gatsby inspired concept and secured a gorgeous location at the Atlanta History Museum. Of course, we all jumped on board with a concept like this and began brainstorming. Photography included myself, Kristin Fuller and Maxine Piccinich. Hair and make-up was provided by the insanely talented Theresa Stone.

Given everything that is going on in the world today, do you think the role of artists has changed? How do local, national or international events and issues affect your art?
The market is competitive and there are so many insanely talented artists out there. The best way to separate yourself, is to create a truly unique experience for your clients and a product of stellar quality that exceeds the normal industry standards. We definitely try to stay involved in the community and support local businesses and give back.

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
Our work can be viewed in various magazine publications, but the easiest way to get a feel for our work is to visit our social media pages.
