Nearly eight years ago, I made the life-changing decision to leave Detroit and start fresh in Atlanta. The move was fueled by a desire for new opportunities and to protect my family.
I wasn’t business minded when I moved here and didn’t have many skills but as I desperately wanted more freedom from the day to day hustle I started looking.
Back home my taxes hustle was just that. A hustle, but I quickly realized that it needed to be a business and not a hustle.
So I set out to find the people who could help me.
Word of mouth and referrals became powerful drivers of growth. Satisfied clients recommended our services to others, and our reputation for reliability and expertise spread. I expanded the team, bringing on board talented professionals who shared my passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being I’m not from Atlanta area, I was starting from the ground up. The early days were filled with challenges. Building a client base from scratch required relentless networking and marketing. I attended local business events, joined professional organizations, and utilized social media to spread the word about my services. Every new client felt like a significant milestone, and their positive feedback fueled my motivation.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Going on vacations as a family. I loved to see new places. Being the oldest it was a lot of work at times but vacations were always better
