Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Lesley Logan h.c.
Hi Dr. Lesley, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always been a people person, but when you’re young, it’s hard to know what you want to do in life. My older brother suggested that I major in communications, so I did. I got my degree in public relations and marketing. However, I didn’t dive into public relations right away; instead, I worked in sales and marketing for several years in corporate PR. After that, I started working in other fields of work such as sales, education, and even nursing. It wasn’t until much later I decided to work in public relations.
Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, I eventually decided to start my own company. I transitioned into entertainment PR, and recently, I’ve rebranded my focus towards C-suite clients, companies driven by purpose, and nonprofit organizations.
This year, I also released a college scholarship through my partnership with Bold.org in honor of my mom, who died a few years ago. I am excited about this project. More information via their website at https://bold.org/scholarships/j-e-anderson-family-college-scholarship
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been easy. I believe that we have to face challenges in life to become stronger and better business owners. I try to transform negative experiences into positive opportunities. I’ve encountered situations where people have tried to take credit for my work, refused to pay for services after they were rendered, or downplayed my efforts. All of this is part of the learning curve. These experiences have helped me become more business-savvy. I’ve learned the importance of securing contracts and NDAs with everyone I work with—no more oral agreements. These lessons have taught me to be selective about who I choose to work with and to ensure everything is in writing. If someone won’t sign the contracts, then I won’t work with them.
I’m also excited to share that I have a book coming out soon. It’s a guide to public relations with plenty of case studies. I can’t wait for you to read it!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy? That’s an interesting question. What brings me joy every day is waking up with the opportunity to inspire someone. I’m always grateful to God for opening my eyes each morning. There’s nothing to complain about when you have the gift of a new day. Being able to inspire and educate others, and promote positivity in a world that can often be so negative, truly makes me happy. My family also brings me immense joy—my son, my dad, my sister, and my friends are all sources of happiness in my life.
