Today we’d like to introduce you to Xica Bee
Hi Xica , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I moved to Atlanta Ga in 2010 , I was homeless and needed a change. I moved to Atlanta transferring my job working for BallyS Total Fitness . Just graduated from College with so much hope and dreams. When I moved here I was giving a chance to run a gym here and the company file bankruptcy and I was without a job. I then had to ask GOD why and for what. He let me know that he will take me to what he will not get me through.
So I actually went back to school from massage therapy. I then layered open up my own massage therapy and Self Care business. XicaBeeFit,LLC and Selfcare with Xica Bee Located in Buckhead. I am now also an educator for beavers Academy located in Decatur Georgia for massage therapy. I also have been allowed to truly focus on my dream and acting. I never stopped acting. I never stopped pursuing it Jazz trials and tribulations that are now my testimony have put me in this position where I am able to reach and teach and also achieve my dreams.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. I moved here. I was leaving out of my car. I had to go to the exotic side of my professional dancing dancing in Club Onyx club Rain Doa doing features and traveling around the world as a professional dancer now exotic being featured on TMZ PValley BMF for all those attributes, but I’ve always wanted to focus on my acting and educating people on self-care.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am employed by myself. I work Xica Bee Fit , Self Care with Xica Bee , and Sho Stopper Productions . I am a full time actress with more the 8 movies on tubi Father May I one two three , I want her , Bffs and more I am so happy to be in my purpose
I am so proud that I have my own office. I used to drive To my clients now if I do, I charge my office rate. I am happy that I am educator to help other people be aware of their bodies and how to help Change lives at a time. What apart is what I do I love helping I love healing and manifesting. I don’t believe in giving up because doubt could destroy a dream, but your dreams can destroy doubts
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Risk taking Is like saying that you must live in fear. I took a risk by moving whatever I had in my car and driving from California to Atlanta with no family and no friends and I can yet say 10 years later I have been very successful and I have so much more to achieve so it wasn’t it was more my dream. I have became a mother of a smart and handsome 5year old son. It wasn’t easy but I was allowing god to lead . I am the only one in my family to leave OkLahome and really run full speed ahead and this is the 1 chapter of my wonderful book and testimony
