Hi David , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always loved fashion. I believe in looking exceptionally good in what I wear and how I dress. This passion of mine has birthed my vision of building David Scott, a company that centers its excellence on expressing love, creativity, and simplicity through design and fashion.
My journey in the fashion business started with apprenticeship. The journey in the fashion space back home in Nigeria and then started my own fashion brand. Moved to the US for my masters in IT but continued my passion for fashion and clothes. Now I’m in the era of building up a fashion house with my name.
David Scott is scaling through higher heights.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Lol!!! A smooth road is an illusion for anyone who thinks business is an easy journey.
Yes, as a brand we face, and experience challenges every day. Every process of getting our clients’ needs to create and craft their outfits to meet their needs, efficiently packaging it and sending it to them safely, managing teams to perform at top class and more are some of the everyday challenges I experience.
Running, scaling and evolving fashion brands require a lot of hard work, diligence, patience, strategies, and sacrifices to face and overcome both present and future challenges.

As the Creative Director at David Scott, I’m responsible for overseeing the creative process of crafting and designing our products which are specifically designed to meet the needs of our customers. I oversee the creative, marketing and business processes at David Scott, lead and spearhead teams to make our business and product meet high standards that complement our vision and objectives.
We specialize in creating and designing custom/bespoke wear for men through unique, simple, and stylish forms and designs that represent African history and culture.
We’re known for our unique style, simple and efficient detailing in our products, for our artistic delivery in meeting our client’s needs, for our unique customer and delivery service, and more.
We’re proud of building a fashion brand that creates value in style, simplicity, and versatility. When you wear a David Scott outfit you become the gentleman you’re born to be.
What sets us apart from our competition is building effective customer service and client relationships, building great teams of talents, and designing the best of outfits.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
My likes:
– The city harbors the best environmental scenery anyone can think of.
– It’s a great place to have fun and entertain family and friends.
– A great business city. Everyone in Atlanta is busy and on his feet.
– Atlanta is a diverse city. It has everything.
My dislikes:
– The traffic is hellish when Atlanta is busy.
– The transport system can be a nightmare.
– Getting loyal customers can be a hassle.
