Exploring Life & Business with Angie Barnett aka Coach Angie Be of Radiate Naturally

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Barnett aka Coach Angie Be

Hi Angie Barnett, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I became a wellness coach after leaving a high-control religion. Taking care of my body forced me to learn how to take care of myself and put myself 1st. By working out, I discovered my power and grew my self-confidence. This is what I needed in order to live a successful life after leaving a high-control religion. I created Radiate Naturally to help people empower their lives by changing their bodies. I created The Exodus Group C. Foundation ( working on 501c3 status) to help empower those who are struggling with the terms and conditions of a high-control religion and give them the tools to succeed without such restricted religion.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
WITH GOD NO, it hasn’t been easy at all. After being forced out of a high-control religion I was no longer able to talk to my family or anyone I knew from my life prior. I had to start over again from the beginning without knowing anyone. I moved to Atlanta from a small town in Middle Georgia and started over. I slept on couches and slept in people’s homes for years because I did not understand I had to re-educate myself on how to live in this world, without the organization. During that time I was building my career as a wellness coach. I discovered that I am stronger than I was told I would be while in the high control region. I discovered my power. I discovered through a bunch of trials and tribulations that I am a very good person, and that people really do like me. Fitness taught me that I can keep going and that I am able to do anything with practice and hard work, and sometimes asking for help or more information when needed is being strong in itself, not a weakness.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
