Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In 2016, I had recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Theater when my Dad, Dr. Trey Rollins, an Anesthesiologist and Pain Specialist, approached me about potentially selling his new product he had been developing under the radar: BIOLYTE. He told me that BIOLYTE was inspired by my mom, Jeannine’s, struggle to stay hydrated during her chemotherapy treatments. BIOLYTE would be the first of its kind – a drink that would offer the same benefits as an IV, to help people recover fast and feel relief from the discomforts of dehydration. I immediately took on the challenge of transforming my dad’s formula into a thriving company – selling bottles door to door and out of the trunk of my Toyota Highlander.
Since then, BIOLYTE has grown rapidly, available in stores nationwide, on Amazon, and now available in five flavors and in powder form – it’s been a joy evolving from a family remedy to one of the country’s fastest-growing, privately owned brands (according to Inc. magazine!).

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been rocky, hilly, and sometimes there’s been hot lava on the path to success! Lol.
But in all seriousness, I find peace in knowing that our challenges are not unique to BIOLYTE. BIOLYTE has had the same struggles that every new business person faces as they try and scale – too many sales, too little sales, too many people, too few people, the right partners, the wrong partners, etc. But as Winston Churchill says, “Success is going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm.”
