In 2022, I embarked on an exciting journey by launching my hair business, The Lace Laboratory. My passion for doing hair and making others feel beautiful was the driving force behind this venture. From a young age, I found joy in transforming looks and boosting confidence, which ignited my desire to turn this passion into a profession. Determined to succeed, I dedicated myself to mastering new hair techniques and constantly honing my skills. Equally important was my commitment to learning effective marketing strategies to reach a wider audience. Through unwavering motivation and consistent practice, I built The Lace Laboratory into a thriving business, helping countless individuals embrace their beauty with confidence.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Running a business is far from easy, and there are numerous struggles that entrepreneurs face along the way. When I first started my wig business, the pace was painfully slow. There were days when I could sell a wig, but then there were weeks where I wouldn’t sell a single one. This inconsistency was frustrating and disheartening.
However, I knew that giving up wasn’t an option. To overcome this challenge, I ramped up my promotional efforts. I began posting more frequently on social media, engaging with potential customers, and showcasing the unique qualities of my wigs. These efforts gradually paid off, as increased visibility led to more consistent sales. The journey taught me the importance of persistence, adaptability, and the power of effective marketing.

What were you like growing up?
When i was growing up, i liked to play with bratz and Barbie dolls hair, and i loved to dance, all the time, but I always knew hair was going to be my thing because i always loved doing hair
