Meet Danielle Bates of Athens, GA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Bates

Hi Danielle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Becoming w/ Danielle started in 2019 but under a different name. At first I was doing skin care from 2019-2021, then took a break and now I am advocate for self healing and spreading self love. The purpose is to help individuals learn how to properly love and to be loved and feel confident in their bodies. I do this by hosting powerful and impactful events.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not been as smooth as I thought it would be. I did everything myself. From marketing, making labels, make products, etc it became overwhelming.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I got my Bachelor’s in Psychology Minor in Business Administration. I wanted to be a Child Psychologist back in High School but realized that was more school then I wanted. Currently working on my Masters for Social Work. I currently work for Case Management Services.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
I learned that a lot of people don’t like to be by themselves or don’t know how to thrive in solitude. Hence why I came out with a skin care line to help bring in self love in the moment. I also have a 7 day journaling book to help women dig deep into themselves and create solutions to their problems.
