Hi LA, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve had an incredible journey so far, and it all started with my deep love for music, which began when I was just a child. Singing with my cousin in a group at 15 laid the foundation for my musical career. Growing up in Southern California, I’ve always been smart, confident, and influential—qualities that carried me through my time at Redlands High School and beyond.
After high school, I dove headfirst into the world of music and acting, going on auditions and pushing towards my dreams. The big move to Atlanta marked a new chapter in my life, where I continued to hone my craft. Now, in my late 20s, I’ve reached an exciting milestone by releasing my first EP this year. My passion for creating music is evident in the work I’ve done in the studio, collaborating with various artists, and producing music videos with the help of my sister.
But my talents don’t stop at music. I’ve ventured into photography, modeling, and design, always finding new ways to express myself creatively. Alongside my sister, I’ve built a business empire that includes a clothing brand and a cooking business, fully embracing the entrepreneurial spirit.
My journey has been one of constant growth and evolution. Through my work, I aim to inspire others to chase their dreams and strive to become the best versions of themselves. I’m living a life filled with love, peace, and fulfillment, and I’m passionate about influencing others to do the same.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey hasn’t been a smooth road—it’s been filled with challenges and struggles. I’ve had to deal with the difficulty of finding the right producers and working with people who truly share my goals and vision. On top of that, there’s been family drama, jealousy, and envy from people who’ve tried to stop me from being as great as I know I am. Relationships have also been a challenge, sometimes becoming distractions that threatened to throw me off course.
It’s been tough trying to navigate through all of that while staying strong and focused on the bigger picture. But even in those hard times, I’ve always had faith in God. I know there’s a plan for me, and His plan is the only one I stick to. By keeping my focus on Him and His path for me, I’ve been able to stay on track and continue moving forward. It hasn’t been easy, but I know I’m on the right road, and that’s what keeps me going.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
In my professional life as an artist and creative, I pour my heart into writing music that speaks to my life experiences—whether it’s about relationships, hardships, or love. I sing, write songs, and showcase my talent across social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. My journey as an entrepreneur is all about hustling and grinding to make sure I can do what I love while living the life I envision.
I’m known for my creativity, my artistry, and my ability to present myself in a way that’s both classy and cute. I take pride in how I look and how I carry myself, especially when it comes to doing my makeup and curating my image. But what I’m most proud of is the strong image I’ve built and the love I receive from my family—they’re my backbone, and their support keeps me grounded and at peace.
What sets me apart from others is that I don’t let other people’s opinions faze me. I do what feels right for me and stick to the path God has laid out. While many people get caught up in what others think, I stay true to myself and focus on what really matters. That’s been key to my success and happiness.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
To do my best in life, I rely on a mix of apps, books, podcasts, blogs, and other resources that keep me inspired and focused. I love watching YouTube videos, especially those where women talk about becoming their best selves, creating, building, growing, and blowing up in their careers and personal lives. One book that has had a huge impact on me is *No Excuses*. It’s really influenced my mindset, teaching me the value of discipline and determination when it comes to achieving my goals. These resources are my go-to tools for staying motivated and on track.
