My career began with a deep passion for digital marketing, leading me to start as a freelance strategist. I soon moved into a virtual assistant role, where my responsibilities expanded significantly. I took on roles such as Operations Manager, led recruiting initiatives, and managed company-wide projects. These experiences allowed me to contribute meaningfully to the success of various businesses and ignited my passion for helping small enterprises grow into successful ventures. My work spanned a range of industries, including law, healthcare, technology, SMEs, and Fortune 500 companies, each adding to my understanding of what drives business success.
Despite these achievements, I felt increasingly limited by the constraints of agency roles. My background in business operations and marketing revealed that I could offer more on my own. This realization led me to focus on my own consulting business, aiming to make a global impact. I had the opportunity to work with companies not just in the U.S., but all over the world including the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, the Philippines, and Canada, each experience reinforcing my commitment to creating meaningful change.
During this period, I met Rory Sparrow Jr., who had extensive expertise in healthcare IT and the healthcare systems and processes. Recognizing our complementary skills and shared vision for transforming the healthcare sector, we decided to join forces. In 2022, we founded RNB Consulting Group with the goal of leveraging our combined expertise to address the unique challenges of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
As Co-founder and COO of RNB Consulting Group, my role is to harness my diverse experience to deliver transformative solutions in HR, operations, and marketing. My mission extends beyond just improving business operations; I am dedicated to creating a ripple effect that benefits not only individual organizations but also touches the lives of people around the world. Healthcare is at the heart of this mission, and I believe that by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare organizations, we can contribute to better outcomes and improved quality of life for countless individuals. My goal is to continue making a global difference, fostering change that resonates on a personal level and drives positive impact across communities everywhere.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to where I am today has certainly not been smooth, but I believe that nothing worthwhile ever comes easily. I faced numerous challenges along the way that tested my resilience and determination.
One significant struggle was feeling constrained by the limitations of working as a virtual assistant through agencies. Although I was making a substantial impact, I often felt that my potential was being restricted. This realization drove me to pivot towards independent consulting, where I could fully unleash my capabilities.
On a personal level, I faced additional hurdles. After graduating college, my family moved away, leaving me to navigate life independently in a new city. The emotional weight of being on my own, coupled with periods of depression, made those times particularly challenging. There were moments when the burden felt overwhelming, but I found strength in my passion and purpose, which helped me push through.
I also experienced setbacks with several business ventures. I explored opportunities such as launching my own online retail business and even started a trucking company. These ventures didn’t succeed, and while these failures were disheartening, they were invaluable learning experiences. They taught me that my true passion lay in areas where I could make a meaningful difference, rather than simply pursuing opportunities for the sake of money alone.
Despite these challenges, each struggle has contributed to my growth and resilience. They’ve shaped my approach and deepened my commitment to my work. Overcoming these obstacles has only strengthened my determination to make a global difference through RNB Consulting Group, knowing that the journey itself has been a crucial part of reaching where I am today. Knowing that I am actually making a differences in the lives of people around the world every day really keeps me going.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something surprising that many people might not know about me is that I originally pursued a pre-law degree with the goal of becoming a sports agent. Coming from a basketball-obsessed family, I always imagined myself managing sports careers, despite not being particularly athletic myself. I’ve always had a high sports IQ and a deep love for the game, and I envisioned helping my little brother navigate his career in sports.
Funny enough, while my career as a sports agent didn’t quite materialize, my brother has since become a professional basketball player overseas! Even though I didn’t end up in sports management, I’m still very much involved in his career as one of his go-to people for advice on business decisions. It’s a funny twist that, while my career path took a different route, I still get to stay connected to the sports world in a meaningful way.
