Hi Brian, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey into the SMP (Scalp Micro Pigmentation) began with a personal experience. I had always been interested in aesthetics and helping people enhance their confidence, but my path took a more personal turn when I witnessed my own hair loss. It was heartbreaking to see every day how it affected my self-esteem and overall quality of life.
Seeing the emotional and psychological impact firsthand motivated me to explore solutions. After extensive research and training, I discovered SMP – a non-surgical treatment that could offer a natural-looking solution for hair loss and thinning. I was planning to go to South Korea (Home of K-Beauty) when I met a very well known SMP specialist in Seoul and decided to undergo the procedure. After completing three sessions, I was able to see a complete makeover. The confidence I gained from it completely transformed my life. I no longer had to rely on hats or hair products to cover my bald spots when going out in public.
The more I learned, the more passionate I became about this field. I realized that this was an opportunity for me that’s hard to pass up.
So, I took a leap of faith. I invested in comprehensive training from a renowned leading SMP expert, from whom I had personally received treatments. I started my business with a clear vision: to provide top-quality SMP services that truly transform lives.
I’m a proud dad of two beautiful children, Leah(13) and Noah(8). They’re my biggest cheerleaders throughout this journey and my greatest motivation everyday!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
In the beginning, every business journey came with many challenges. Among them, the biggest challenge was attracting customers. As an engineer, I wasn’t skilled in marketing, and it wasn’t easy to draw initial customers to my shop. Fortunately, thanks to the high satisfaction of the customers who received the treatments, word of mouth began to spread, and I experienced the blessing of gradually making my business known to more customers
