Today we’d like to introduce you to Vina Williams

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I never thought I would be a realtor never even crossed my mind. Until I was looking for a place to rent and was looking for a location on the Internet. Found a place on Craiglist and seen that it was affordable for me, I was single mother. I was able to move in a week . we were currently living in a hotel so this was a blessing for us. About 2 weeks later a man knock on the door and stated what are you doing here, I sold the place you are not suppose to be here. I was shocked and I called my suppose to be landlord and she was arguing with him on the phone. Well he called the police. At that moment I knew I was scam by my landlord and the him they were working together. This had to be the worst feeling in the world to have your money taken and you have your kids and no where to go. I told myself I wanted to be on the other side. I never wanted a person to feel the way I did. So I decide to make a change and help as many people that i can help to find a rental or Home and not be scammed. So I decided to become a Realtor changed my life and I was able to have finianical freedom for me and my kids. I LOVE working with clients and helping them find a home that they love. To see the face of my clients when they closing on a home that they never thought they come ever have has given me so much joy. I’am Blessed to be a blessing.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road, it was really tough when I lost my car to a car accident on 285 hwy. I was devastated and I could have lost my life. but God. I had to go without a car for months. I wanted to give up on Real Estate but I never stop assisting clients. I would borrow my friends car or catch an uber to a showing. It was hard but I did and show 4 homes without having a car. So when think can’t believe me you can do anything you put your mind too.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Im a Real Estate Agent in Florida and Georgia, a native on Miami Florida and move to Georgia during the Pandemic. I have been a Supply Chain Analyst for Verizon for over 10 years. I have been a Realtor since 2018. When I first got into Real Estate I didn’t expect to enjoy it the way I do. It makes me feel like can do anything I put my mind too. I knew I wanted to help other single mothers accomplish being a Homeowner, event though I was never a homeowner but I knew I would be one day. I move to Georgia and was able to be apart of a program that allows Families that are not yet ready to purchase a home lease it for up to 5 years. I knew that I could help other families get into the program to Purchase a home. Its something about seeing the clients face at the closing table just gives me complete joy and I love would to be able to help as many families as I can. What sets me apart from others is my caring spirit to understand that I will never put someone in a home that I know they could not afford or is not ready mentally to be a homeowner and I have a personal program that I work with client for up to a year to help them overcome obstacles that may be holding them back from purchasing a home.
