Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Rodriguez
Hi Christina, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m originally from Bloomington, Indiana, and have called Atlanta home since 2007. My journey began when I earned a full academic and athletic scholarship to a university in Kentucky. There, I competed in track and field and built lasting friendships. After moving to Georgia, I transitioned into managing a fitness club as a personal trainer and nutritionist.
My career then evolved into corporate event planning and nonprofit management, where I eventually found my passion in supporting and encouraging girls and women to explore STEM careers. In 2017, after marrying my husband David, we embarked on the IVF process to conceive our youngest daughter. During this time, I began sharing our infertility journey on social media, which led to features on podcasts, news outlets, and talk radio shows, providing insight on infertility and genetic testing.
Today, I focus on creating engaging content for major brands while balancing life with our four children and husband as we split our time between homes in Johns Creek and Las Vegas. Outside of work, I’m passionate about giving back to the community through coaching basketball and track, and I’ve had the privilege of serving as Board President for the Technology Association of Georgia’s Young Professionals division.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was going through a divorce and having to start over. Blending families with my new husband, David, brought its own set of difficulties as we worked to create a strong foundation for our children. Navigating the dynamics of a blended family with kids ranging from 4 to 24 years old requires a lot of patience and adaptability.
On the professional front, the uncertainty brought on by COVID was a major hurdle but it forced me to reevaluate my career and focus on what truly mattered. That period encouraged me to pursue my long-standing passions all while balancing a busy family life and supporting my kids in their own journeys. It hasn’t always been easy, but each challenge has shaped who I am today.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Content creation wasn’t something I initially planned, but I’ve always had a creative side and a desire to express myself. My journey into this field was quite organic—brands began reaching out, intrigued by our blended family, and soon my children were booking modeling jobs and the whole family ended up on billboards across the country! From there, it evolved, and now I identify as a lifestyle content creator.
I specialize in sharing a mix of world travels, home life, parenting, infertility and my role as a coach and sports mom. I’m most proud of how authentic and real my content is—what you see is truly our life, without any filters or pretenses. Life can be messy and raw, and I want people, especially moms, to feel like they’re not alone in those challenges. I think that’s what sets me apart: I embrace the imperfect and show others that it’s perfectly okay to do the same.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My advice for finding a mentor or networking is to be clear and intentional about what you’re seeking. Be honest about what you’re looking for, what you want out of a relationship, and what you can bring to the table. Networking can feel intimidating, but approaching it with purpose makes a huge difference.
Authenticity is key—people can always tell when you’re being genuine, and that helps build trust. Don’t be afraid to share your story or your goals openly. Networking isn’t just about expanding contacts, it’s about creating meaningful connections that can support mutual growth.
