Today we’d like to introduce you to Shawnda Gray
Hi Shawnda, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am Shawnda Gray, a wife, a mom worship leader, a daughter songwriter, etc.
My story is short. I grew up in Baltimore, MD, raised by David and Sharon Smith. I have two siblings. Iam a mother of 4 children: Two boys and Two girls. My husband and I have been married for ten years. I started singing when I was very young. It has always been my passion. I was raised in the church, singing on choirs and praise teams, and I have always enjoyed it. I have faced many challenges. I have suffered greatly in my life as a teenager, going into adulthood very early, having my first child at 20 years old, getting married at the age of 22, and still trying to find out who I was dealing with heavy depression and thoughts of suicide dealing with infidelity for years in my marriage my oldest daughter having epilepsy but God has graced me through it all my mom and dad gave me a strong foundation in God that has kept me all of these years my relationship with God is number one it is because of God iam still standing through it all!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been rough. Can I say that again? The road has been rough‼️. In 2021, it felt like everything had just come down simultaneously! Being a young wife & mother of 4 kids and not knowing who I was as an individual after losing my father in 2019, struggling to find my way, fighting with depression and anxiety, anger, frustration, disappointment, and regret! Those years iam grateful for who iam today wouldn’t trade it for the world I stand on

But what of that? For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!
I’m living the Glory Revealed Life!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As an artist/creative, I write songs ( I will be releasing them soon). iam a worship leader/Psalmist. I travel to different churches and minister through song. I also mentor and help other worship leaders and their teams.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Integrity is essential also being humble, teachable, and approachable.
Constantly evolving, setting a pace for yourself! Having a solid relationship with God!
