Today we’d like to introduce you to Sam Hoppenbrouwer
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I graduated from UGA 2013 and have worked on and off with chimneys since graduation. Previously, I spent 3/4 years helping to manage a chimney company and then decided to open my own. I have proudly served the Atlanta and surrounding areas with my company, Project Chimney, for over 2 years now. Our biggest joy making sure the fireplace is a welcoming place where families can get together and enjoy their time within their homes.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Anything worth doing well has struggles, especially when starting and operating a small business. Deciding when and how to grow is always a fun hurtle.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a nationally certified chimney sweep and enjoy inspecting, sweeping, and repairing chimney systems.
I am very proud in the knowledge and experience I bring to customers when explaining what kind of system they have and how to properly use each system. This experience and ability to convey our knowledge with customers helps to set us apart from others in our industry.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Customer service and knowledge of our services.
