Hi Kimberly, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my media journey in 2014, my cousin and I started an entertainment blog: K Brand University, we covered different red carpets, interviewed different celebrities and that started it all.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
WHEW! not smooth at all, lol. Being that we started from scratch we had to prove ourselves, we had to work for the reconnection of our peers in the industry.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in media and all things music! I love the arts, and it’s my reality. I’m most proud of my entertainment blog that I created alongside my cousin, ‘K Brand University’. I think me being my authentic self sets me apart from others.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
That it doesn’t happen overnight! Most people think that success happens overnight, but you don’t see them long nights, the sweat, the tears.
