Daily Inspiration: Meet Men’s Honesty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Men’s Honesty

Hi Men’s, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We are three guys-Luke, Joseph and Jonathan who have been friends since high school. Each of us knew we had gifts and wanted to find a way to express those gifts to the world. We always had a thoughts of a podcast but we never put it into action until March 2024. We decided in a group chat that we will be creating one. The way we came up with the name was actually from another group chat that was created years ago called “Men’sHonesty”. We took that name and ran with it. Now as of October 29th, we are 8 episodes in, we love it, the people love it, and that support makes us want to create more.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Having three people that are all leaders come together and work in a group setting is not a smooth road. We definitely have our challenges. It’s times where one person may not like something but the other person does. That right there causes arguments sometimes. Small things like one person not talking enough or not promoting enough. We are definitely far from perfect. We always make sure we have God front and center of our lives, so when things take a turn we always pray about the situation. The last thing we want is to end everything over a petty argument. We are the band that will stick together, no matter how irritated each of us gets.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are Men’s Honesty, a podcast that specializes in entertainment and wisdom. We discuss real-life situations that young people face, integrating faith and biblical knowledge into our conversations. We take pride in the complete honesty we bring to the table, acknowledging that none of us are perfect and we all experience everyday struggles. It’s important for us to be transparent with our listeners, creating a sense of connection that makes it feel like we’re all in the room together.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Joseph: I would say my favorite memory would be playing the games I had as a kid. I loved playing my PSP and DS with my family and friends.

Luke : Watching Avatar The Last Air Bender for the first time, loved it. Definitely top 10 shows of all time.

Jonathan: Going to Disney Land with my family. We made good memories there.
