Hi Shauntae Bradley & Evonita Wright, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our journey has been about balancing steady careers with the desire to pursue more creative passions. I’ve (Shauntae) been working as a mail carrier, which has given me insights into different communities and the people within them. Meanwhile, my wife (Evonita) has always loved cooking and organizing events, which has inspired her to pursue a future in event planning and culinary arts.
Recently, we decided to take steps toward making these dreams a reality. I’m working toward becoming a clothing designer, with the goal of creating styles that feel fresh, inclusive, and authentic. I also focus on fashion photography, capturing the essence of my designs and telling a visual story that connects with others. At the same time, my wife is preparing to launch her own event planning and cooking business, blending her talent for organizing with her love of food and hospitality.
We’re excited about this next chapter, knowing it will take dedication and creativity. But we’re ready for the challenge, and most importantly, we’re thrilled to support each other every step of the way.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but that’s part of what makes the journey worthwhile. Balancing our current jobs with family life and trying to build something new has been challenging. As a mail carrier, my schedule can be demanding, and my wife juggles her passion for cooking and organizing events while managing our household. It’s been tricky to find time for everything, especially while working toward our dreams of becoming a clothing designer and event planner.
One of the biggest struggles has been learning new skills from scratch. For me, diving into fashion design means mastering everything from sketching to fabrics, while my wife is refining her expertise in both event planning and cooking. On top of that, stepping into content creation and fashion photography has been its own learning curve—figuring out how to build an online presence, stay consistent, and engage with an audience.
Another challenge has been managing fear and self-doubt. Pursuing something outside your comfort zone isn’t always easy, and it’s hard not to question if things will pan out the way we hope. But every challenge has taught us something, and we’ve found that working together and supporting each other makes all the difference.
We’re still figuring things out, but the obstacles remind us that progress isn’t always linear. The key for us is to stay patient, trust the process, and keep moving forward, no matter how small the steps might seem.

On the other hand, my wife (Evonita) is pursuing her passion for event planning and cooking. She specializes in crafting memorable experiences, whether it’s a cozy gathering or a grand celebration. Her culinary skills shine through her ability to create delicious, beautifully presented dishes that leave a lasting impression on guests. What sets her apart is her attention to detail and her knack for creating an inviting atmosphere that makes every event feel special.
We’re both most proud of our commitment to authenticity and connection. We aim to share our journeys through content creation, offering insights into our processes, the challenges we face, and the successes we celebrate. This transparency helps us build a genuine relationship with our audience, which is incredibly important to us.

What matters most to us is the ability to create meaningful connections and experiences, both in our personal lives and through our work. Family is at the heart of everything we do; we believe that nurturing our relationships and spending quality time together is essential. This drives our passion for creating spaces and products that bring people together, whether it’s through fashion, food, or events.
I am particularly passionate about fashion design, and as a photographer, I aim to capture the essence of the styles I create. I believe that the visual storytelling aspect of photography is a powerful way to connect with others and showcase the emotions behind the designs.
We also deeply value authenticity and creativity. We want to express ourselves and encourage others to do the same. In our clothing designs and events, we aim to foster an environment where people feel free to showcase their individuality and celebrate their uniqueness.
Lastly, making a positive impact on our community is incredibly important to us. We want to contribute to a sustainable future through our work—using eco-friendly practices in fashion design and promoting local ingredients and businesses in event planning.
