Today we’d like to introduce you to Gerell Traynum

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Been singing since I was eight.
Started singing in church in Norfolk Virginia when I was 11
Started recording and writing music at 14.
First EP dropped at 16.
Sung in chorus and played snare drum in high school.
Music major and graduate at Norfolk State University.

(Please reference me as “SNCR” in the article)

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Growing up without a father
Leaving Christian music to do rnb
Coming from a small town as far as having no music platforms like big cities.
Joined the military to pay for the rest of college.
Always have been looked over or called “over qualified” in my career and have been told to dumb down my gift.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am professional singer and RnB artist.
Known for my vocal ability, cover songs, and song writing.
I’m proud of following my dreams and moving to a new place to pursue them. Im also most proud of opening up for major artists so far without any type of major deal or assist. Very proud of the co-signs from major artists and producers such as Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Rico Love, etc.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
You can collaborate with me and follow me easily through social media @sincere4hymn or email at booksncr@gmail.com
