Today we’d like to introduce you to Clarissa Vasquez
Hi Clarissa, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I moved to Atlanta in 2016 & ultimately it was a culture shock to me especially coming from south FL where it’s more tropical vibes . Moving forward to 2022 when i first starting content creating / promoting , at first I was not the best at it because i didn’t know anything about content creation but over time I have improved my knowledge & my skills to get myself where I am today as a micro influencer soon to be mega influencer
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I like to say that every step in life is a learning curve. Content creation requires you to be consistent & creative with anything you put out on the internet. I have struggled with consistency but I was able to overcome it due to my friend Cindy who told me to record content in advance so that i can edit/post on my downtime which has helped me greatly. I’ve also struggled with my confidence at times due to me having to work harder because i’m plus size but i’ve learned to keep a good support system around me to keep me uplifted when i’m not feeling my best.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in promoting / content creation for clubs , restaurants, brands etc .
I am most proud of my work ethic when it comes to promoting / content creation , I really can take the tools that are in front of me and make it into something that everyone is gonna want to see/experience . What sets me apart from everyone else is that i value safety & inclusivity especially being in the city of Atlanta where everyone is encouraged to be themselves. I strive to make whatever club / restaurant / brands im promoting/content creating for is inclusive to EVERYONE !
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My best advice is to KNOW YOUR WORTH ! Do not let these companies low ball you or make you work for free. You know who you are & what you are capable of doing so you should compensated accordingly.
