Today we’d like to introduce you to Laquan Taylor
Hi Laquan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
10yrs ago (this January) I was robbed at gun point for my car. After handing over the keys, I was shot four times in my back and when I fell to floor and turned over on my back, the young man stood over me and empty the clip in my stomach. Before passing out, I gave a witness my mom‘s phone number they called her. She called on star which was in the car that they stole from me. I was taken to Grady Hospital in Atlanta and spent about three months there transferred to Shepherd Center also in Atlanta. After the shepherd center, because I am a veteran, I went to the Tampa VA to continue and finish out my recovery.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it has not been a smooth road but what road is smooth. Life has some challenges. It’s how you accept the challenges and go through them. It’s what matters since my injury. I am not able to do the things that I once did before my favorite thing to do in my past time was play basketball I can no longer play basketball
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Neurofit360atl is a neurological rehabilitation clinic. We specialize in anything that deals with Nero i.e. the name, NeuroFit. We have board-certified doctors on staff treating anyone that falls under the criteria of a neurological disability. I would say the main thing that says as a part is how we customize the clients session. The session is catered just for them. There is one client to one physical therapist most places that you attend. There are multiple clients with one physical therapist within the same hour.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I would say the one characteristics that I have and I find that has brought me. The most success is my willingness to give. I am always giving no matter what it is. I just want to see everyone succeed that is around me.
Pricing:
- $200.00 is for the initial evaluation
- $140.00 is the rate that we charge per hour for the client to work one on one with the doctor a physical therapy
