Today we’d like to introduce you to Denard Farmer
Hi Denard, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started modeling and studying fashion back in college. I have always had a sense of style and wanted to experience walking in fashion shows but I wasn’t confident that I had what it takes. I joined a model troupe which helped me with basic runway skills and build up my confidence. Fashion was like a virus that I picked up from being around like minded people that I connect with during my modeling journey who were designers, stylist, influencers and basically mentors to me coming up in this industry.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
What’s can be most challenging is staying consistent and on top of your fashion content. Sometimes you have a creative block and it can be difficult to find inspiration to create.

Currently I am a Department Manager for H&M and I have been with the company for 7 years. During my time away from work I’m usually creating fashion content to help push me to the next level as a model / stylist. I am most proud of the publications I received and all the amazing runway shows that I have been apart of. I am known for being on the Real Life Reality platform serving and giving fashions. What set me apart is that I will always unapologetically be me. I’m not afraid to take risks and step outside of the box. Fashion is an art and it’s fun, expressive, conveys emotions and send a message. I enjoy all forms of it from the colors, fabrics, and shapes to make wearable garments.
