Hi Kimberly, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started photography as a way to hold onto precious memories when my daughter was born with a rare genetic condition. Doctors told us she might not live past her first birthday, and I became obsessed with capturing every moment, every detail. Photography became a lifeline, a way to freeze time in case I lost it. Thankfully, my daughter is now 8 years old, defying all odds, and continues to inspire me every day.
Initially, I focused on family photography, but a few years in, I craved a new spark of inspiration. That’s when I discovered boudoir photography. I fell in love with how it empowers women, helping them see their beauty and worth in a whole new light. It’s about more than photos—it’s about confidence, self-love, and transformation.
Today, I run a luxury boudoir studio where I get to be every woman’s biggest hype woman. My passion is creating a space where clients feel safe, celebrated, and confident. My journey is deeply personal, shaped by challenges and triumphs, and I pour all that heart into making every session a transformative experience.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I believe any small business owner would be lying if they said it was without struggles. Learning the business side was just as valuable to me as learning how to create art. As a woman, who is also a mom, and the mom to a disabled child at that, it adds an entirely new layer of struggles that are hard to understand without going through it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I run a luxury boudoir studio just south of Atlanta. We specialize in helping women from all walks of life discover their confidence again. We are truly a “one stop shop” for a boudoir experience, as every session includes professional hair & makeup services and a personal stylist to help our clients choose outfits unique and catered to them. I am most proud of our inclusiveness and our ability to create a safe space for the women we serve.
