Hi Mvelo, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started off my trading journey individually but I ended up partnering up with Qhayiya Mbuthuma who is a friend of mine. Our partnership was unique as we complimented each other well. Where I was weak, he was strong; where he was weak, I was strong. We felt that we had something to offer in the industry. We were also tired of scammers too. We opened our small company in order to prove that you could provide valuable information and education without charging or scamming people.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a rocky road. We struggled with our schedules due to the fact that we were part time students when we started. It was difficult to find a balance. We were also young college boys and so you can imagine the type of distractions that we were faced with.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are intraday and swing traders. We trade markets such as forex, indices, synthetic indices, commodities, stock and crypto. Our main focus however is the forex and indices market.
Our whole business practice is based on our trading. We do not sell any products or offer any services. We rather welcome capable traders to be part of the business and help it grow and thrive.
We are unique in the sense that we are a diverse group of traders. We dabble in multiple markets and it’s the way in which we approach them. We have a balance of technical and fundamental abilities which allows us to have accurate market forecasts.
The thing I’m most proud of, is how much money we’ve made and how many people we’ve shown it’s possible. I believe we are a breath of fresh air in an industry full of lies and misinformation.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Yes, I learnt how to adapt quickly to external factors that affect our business practices.
