Meet Chi Chi of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chi Chi

Hi Chi, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started creating content in 2015 during the Vine era, but I did it just for fun. It wasn’t until I saw creators like King Bach , D.C. Young Fly, Tokyo Vanity, etc. becoming stars, that I took it seriously. I’ve always professed my love for entertainment , however, being a teen mom, plus sized, AND living in Mississippi, these were factors always thrown at me to get me off that pedestal. I quit going to school for nursing ,realizing it wasn’t my calling at all, although I look good in scrubs. I started creating content and being serious in 2016. IT DID NOT GO ANYWHERE until 2021. That was the year I first went viral and God has been using me and allowing me to show people the correlation we all have with each other in life ever since. You’d be amazed by how a lot of us have had/ are having the same experiences. Oh, but God’s not done yet.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not and if anyone tells you otherwise, look into that person’s cup to see what they’re sipping cause it’s strong. It’s always a struggle, especially being your biggest critic. When I got 10 to 25 views, I was on edge. As a creator , you’re real specific about your art. You know how you want to look or sound. Sometimes, you wonder if you should be even saying what you’re saying because once it’s on the internet it’s out there. People think it’s just propping a camera and talking and while that is true, it’s soooo much anxiety behind it at times. I’ve seen people get great recognition off of my voice while my original barely received it. It can make you feel low sometimes, but you gotta know the greater purpose. That somebody, SOMEWHERE gone feel you, regardless if you get 2 views or 200,000 views.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an actress, writer, content creator, 5’4 lady with a 7’0 personality. I’m known on social media for telling my truths and experiences in which the audience can sometimes relate. I’m most proud of the love I get. Honestly, we’re all people figuring this life thing out. I love how we can come together and just laugh. My authenticity sets me apart, I feel. My voice is not high pitched, some days I’ll post looking cute , and other days I’ll post looking like ridiculousness, but I’m me. I think when you know yourself and you’re comfortable WITH yourself , it sets you apart completely.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The resilience. You have to be strong willed to get through what comes with this, child
