Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Green
Adrian, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I picked up a camera the year I finished college. That was the same year as the pandemic. I started out incredibly bad and wasn’t sure if I would get better. I was looking for instant success. Silly and young of me to think that success just comes to everyone easy. I kept doing shoots and a lot of them were things that I never shot before. I was charging little to nothing for them because I wanted more experience. I started to see that I was getting better and people actually liked the work. That drove me. That got me to where I am now because I just love seeing the growth in what I do. It’s almost a euphoric feeling. When I create something that not only looks good in my eyes, but also everyone else’s, it just makes me happy. I kind of thrive off of that. Haha
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest struggle for me was that I lacked confidence in what I was doing. I didn’t want to charge a lot of money for my work because I believed that it wasn’t that good. So I guess I was kind of under charging. Understanding my equipment was also a struggle for me because at first I didn’t have the patience to become a “nerd” about the equipment that I was using. Once I realized that the more I learn, the more it would show, I just never stopped trying to learn.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a photographer/videographer. I specialize more in videography, but I love photography also.
I am known for bringing people’s vision to life. I shoot music videos, short form content, weddings, events, etc. haha.
I am most proud of the growth in my work. If you look at my portfolio or my Instagram, you literally can start from the bottom and see how much better that I’ve got.
The thing that sets me apart from others is that I listen. When someone tells me something they want, I get every detail so I can make that vision come to life. I think my work looks different because I do that and add my own little “sauce” to the video. Haha
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is being happy with what you’re doing and who you are, while being able to take care of yourself and the people that love you. That’s how I view it.
