Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Thomas
Hi Aaron, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
The concept of my brand / business started really early in 2012 right before I went off to college, the concept sparked from a simple phrase : “Everyone has the potential to be great.”
This statement would go on to be a fundamental belief in everything I did. From business, to content, to creating music and everything else in between, During those early days in college, my brand/business were at an infancy stage and really the most value brought to the business was through genuine connections. These connections would help me gauge and test some of my main skills and interests and later some of these connections would help to expand my business horizons.
Reinforcing this fundamental belief, was the fact that some of these valuable connections would later prosper into long term partnerships and business relationships that would see me expand all avenues of my business/brand, but also help to expand whoever I was connected with in their endeavors.
Now as I moved away from the college scene and more towards a professional route, I again realized that tapping into my own potential would require a real team or network of people that each brought different skills to the table. From this the brand /business would pivot towards a sustainable model of helping communities and different subcultures both in person but also through the internet.
Present day it feels as if my brand/business has turned almost into a lifestyle or religion as it fuels my day to day values, beliefs and self narratives. I use the evolution of it as a true lesson of what it takes to really become successful and how that success is defined. Without my brand/business most likely I would be truly be a lost soul in a lost world…
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I would not say it has been smooth but at the same time it could always be worse, I think constantly having to pivot whether it be emotionally, physically or even mentally was the most challenging part. It took me time to really test myself and find a version of myself that matches everything I value and believe in.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Placing my work in one specific category feels like a disservice to everything I ‘am capable of. As I truly believe not many people in the world are both business savvy and artistically creative, so constantly looking to combine these two opposite worlds has always been a main focus and goal for me. When it comes to main professional work, I would say by day I’m White collar “AT” (mind you I sit at home in a black tee and sweatpants) sitting in front of my 4 computer 6 monitor setup, helping people with taxes, business, and general accounting work. But by night, I could dabble into anything from streaming, making music, editing videos, running a discord server, helping others artist expand their works, really just anything creative.
I think again what sets me apart and really what i’am most proud of are one in the same, as I genuinely don’t see many people that understand business at the level I do, especially in terms of business structure and financial related matters, that are also creatively as gifted as I’am. I recently have focused more on my professional side over the past 3 years studying and working differently in Florida was able to obtain my EA. My goal now is to pivot back to a creative focus well also studying for my CPA
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see everything changing really soon, I think business and entertainment as we know it will change massively over these next few years
