Today we’d like to introduce you to Amb. Dr. Chyna Bethley.
Hi Amb. Dr. Chyna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey started with a deep passion for financial freedom, faith, and helping others create generational wealth. I grew up in New Orleans with big dreams but faced real-life challenges that forced me to become resourceful. Entrepreneurship was never just about making money for me it was about impact.
I started in network marketing, in 2008 learning the power of leverage and residual income earning my 1st Million dollars in 18 months. But my true breakthrough came when I began merging faith with finance, showing people how to build wealth using Kingdom principles. That led to the birth of Rich University in 2013, where I’ve mentored thousands of entrepreneurs, helping them scale to six and seven figures.
Over time, I expanded my reach, launching The Imagination Conference in 2024, a global movement designed to help visionaries turn their ideas into reality. I also developed digital programs like The Secret Recipe, which gives people a step-by-step framework to monetize social media and build profitable businesses from scratch. Authored a Book “Audacity to Believe” Kingdom Principles Practical for Prosperity where Les Brown did the forward!
Now, I’m focused on helping women of color step into financial power, leveraging AI, technology, and emerging markets like crypto to create sustainable wealth. My story is still being written, but one thing remains constant faith is my foundation, and my mission is to help others unlock their imagination and walk boldly in their purpose.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has been anything but smooth, but I believe every challenge I’ve faced has shaped me into the woman I am today.
Not long after Hurricane Katrina lead us to relocate to Atlanta, I was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer in my left breast at a very young age. Going through chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple surgeries was physically and emotionally draining, but I held on to my faith. Doctors told me I wouldn’t be able to have more children, but God had other plans. He healed my body and gave me more children.
I gave birth to my 2nd daughter at just 24 weeks she was only 1 lb. 8 oz. and we spent four months in the NICU. It was one of the most challenging seasons of my life, yet I witnessed a miracle unfold before my eyes. She is Blessed and Healthy And as if that wasn’t enough proof of God’s grace, I later conceived my son while that lead me to be on six months of bed rest.
Outside of my personal challenges, the road to success in business was also filled with obstacles. Entrepreneurship requires resilience there were moments of financial uncertainty, difficult decisions, and times when I had to completely rebuild. But because I had already survived so much, I knew I would overcome. The Holy Spirit was my guide through it all, reminding me that no matter how hard it got, I was built for this.
Every challenge became a stepping stone, strengthening my purpose and deepening my commitment to helping others create generational wealth. I don’t just teach business I teach survival, faith, and the power of imagination. That’s why I know my success isn’t just about me. It’s about showing others that no matter what life throws at you, you can rise, rebuild, and thrive.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck has played no role in my life or business everything I have achieved has been a result of faith, action, divine timing, and alignment with my God-given purpose. I don’t believe in luck; I believe in Kingdom principles, obedience, and preparation meeting divine opportunity.
Every step of my journey has been about trusting God’s plan, moving with bold faith, and positioning myself for success through action. From surviving breast cancer to building a global brand, launching Rich University, and creating The Imagination Conference, none of it happened by chance. It was all a divine assignment, requiring me to be obedient even when I couldn’t see the full picture.
Even in the face of challenges whether personal or in business I never looked at setbacks as “bad luck.” Instead, I saw them as setups for something greater. When obstacles came, I leaned deeper into faith, knowing that God was aligning me with the right people, opportunities, and resources at the right time.
Success is about faith and action working together. Many people are waiting on a lucky break, but I teach my community that prosperity is a byproduct of positioning, preparation, and purpose. When you operate in alignment with God’s will, doors will open that no man can shut. That’s not luck that’s divine favor.
So, if there’s one thing I want people to take from my story, it’s this: You don’t need luck. You need faith, strategy, and the courage to take action. When you align yourself with your purpose, success is inevitable.
