Check Out Kelly V’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly V

Hi Kelly, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Starting from a young age I always had the gift of putting broken pieces into a whole. I could literally visualize things in my mind and create it into reality. Those gifts led me to creating different projects whether it was photo collages or videos for my family on special holidays. Those projects helped my mother feel loved emotionally.. As I grew older my love for art transformed into fashion. I didn’t express myself so much as a kid that I developed an outlet as an adult. The outlet I developed was expressing myself through clothing. As I continued to do what I loved most, I decided to present it to the world confidently which was through creating content.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road but I also wouldn’t wish for it to be any easier neither. I realized through hardships we face, that’s what helps us as humans to develop character. I had a few struggles which were my lack of confidence and self doubt. Truthfully in order for me to overcome those challenges I had to rebuild a relationship within myself and God. I must say without his support, I could not overcome those obstacles alone.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I consider myself an upcoming clothing model. I have the talent to influence others. Influence people daily habits, clothing, diet. Even as far as making them change the way that they speak and think. There’s not a lot of people who can walk into rooms and influence energy the way that I can. I am known for dressing fashionable. As an example, most clothes that I wear in my content? A lot of people often ask where do I shop and ask for my styling advice. I’m most proud to represent the LGBT community through my content. I just want them to have the courage to be themselves regardless of what anyone has to say.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Risk taking is important I feel when it comes to wanting to elevate your craft. Fear is what prevents a lot of people from taking big risk, once you realize fear is what keeps you stuck you’ll learn how to maneuver around it. Risk taking can lead to huge opportunities and connect you to important people. Your life can literally change in an instance just from connecting with the right people and not allowing fear to keep you stuck.
