Fashion has always been my chosen medium for self-expression, and I find immense joy in helping others articulate their identities through their personal style. My official journey into styling commenced in 2022, during a period when I was seeking a creative outlet that could also serve as a source of income. With a multitude of talents and interests, I found it challenging to select a singular path. In search of clarity, I turned to prayer, seeking divine guidance, and felt led toward the field of styling.
Upon reflection, I recognize that this passion has been an integral part of me since childhood. As a young girl, I was captivated by dress-up games such as Stardoll, Y3, and Shopping Spree, dedicating countless hours to experimenting with virtual outfits and refining my fashion sensibilities. This early fascination seamlessly transitioned into my middle school years, where I took pride in personalizing my school uniform with thoughtfully selected shoes and accessories, transforming standard attire into unique expressions of my personality. These experiences were more than mere childhood pastimes; they were foundational steps that illuminated my true calling in the world of fashion styling.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This journey has been anything but smooth. Over the past three years, I’ve often faced challenges with creative block and maintaining consistency. One of the hardest lessons has been accepting that some friends will watch but not offer support. However, I’m continuously learning that this is all part of my growth, and that the right audience—the one truly meant for me—will always be there.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a wardrobe stylist specializing in elevating my clients’ wardrobes for any occasion. What I take the most pride in is my perseverance—I continue to push forward, even when I don’t always feel supported or recognized. I remain committed to my journey because I know that, in time, my moment to shine will come. Until then, I am grateful to stay grounded, focused, and in my own lane as I work toward my ultimate goal of becoming a celebrity stylist.
What sets me apart is my authenticity. I have a distinct style and approach fashion with creative freedom, styling based on what I believe looks best rather than adhering to conventional rules. If I like it, I’ll style it—or wear it—without hesitation.
How do you think about happiness?
God, family and friends, the gym, and fashion—these are the pillars of my happiness.
God is the foundation of my joy and success. Everything I have, where I am in life, and where I am headed is a result of His guidance. He directs my path and strengthens me when I need an extra push to keep going through life’s challenges.
My family and friends bring me balance. Over the years, I’ve come to realize just how family-oriented I am. I thrive when surrounded by people I love and who love me in return. Their presence grounds me and reminds me of what truly matters.
The gym serves as my reset button, especially during long and exhausting weeks. It helps me regain balance after pouring my energy into others. More than just physical fitness, it’s my way of prioritizing my mental well-being so that I can continue showing up as my best self.
And then, there’s fashion—my ultimate form of self-expression. I absolutely love dressing up, accessorizing with both silver and gold jewelry, collecting bags and purses, and wearing heels that make a statement. Fashion has a way of making me feel beautiful, confident, and in my element, instantly elevating my mood. It’s not just about clothing; it’s about how it makes me feel—empowered, radiant, and completely myself.
