Today we’d like to introduce you to SinThya
Hi SinThya, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve been doing music for about 12 years, forming the “SinThya” moniker in early 2017. It’s been my passion for years to make dope noisy shit for the worthless, the unattractive and all the lowlife outcast unorthodox individuals you’ll never get to see. In 2023 I began running my independent label Sinful Wish Records, an authentic underground record label specializing in Experimental, Noise, Industrial among others; featuring projects such as Lost In A World Of Ghosts, Shed Skin, Grumble and of course myself.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road is never smooth, matter of fact it’s still stretching. The hardships I had to face are still present in my current affairs but to push through and keep making music is all I strive for. I’m an entertainer, an artist, a performer, the show must go on and only get better with each moment newly revealed.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
That’s a lot of questions haha, I suppose to put it all in one summary, I’m proud to do what I do and what I do is make music, play shows and further my craft. My album “Not Marilyn Manson, But Definitely Antichrist” just released on the 22nd and I could definitely say it’s my proudest achievement thus far. The record is great from start to finish, people are very much enjoying it and I’m confident more people will love it as we continue to play shows across Georgia and hopefully elsewhere (booking people hook us up!)
What’s next?
I want to get connected with more people who can help me book shows and release more merch and physical media. Photographers and videographers are also in my sights because I really want the Sinful Wish brand to be able to reach a wider audience. There are so many great pieces of music I’ve already released/produced and continue to do but I long for, not only the embrace of these works on a physical format, but also the satisfaction and pleasure of letting others feel that same feeling. Music and art are pure but physical media, grass roots marketing? That’s truly pure, and you won’t get that anywhere better than with your local ATL punks.
