Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike Kelleher
Hi Mike, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Mike is an Emory-trained Physician Assistant who has been practicing since 2005. His medical career began in 1993 as a combat medic in the U.S. Army. He stumbled into the field of non-surgical cosmetic medicine by chance around 2009 while working in dermatology. Curious about procedures like Botox and fillers, he decided to give them a try. He thought that if he enjoyed it and performed well, he would continue; if not, he would move on. Fast forward to 2023, and he is still deeply involved in this specialty.
With a strong background in academia, science, and evidence-based medicine, Mike’s aesthetic practice is built on these principles. Early in his career, he was fortunate to work with and be mentored by some of the best professionals in the field, which greatly influenced his approach to practice.
Mike completed his training at the prestigious Emory University Physician Assistant program in December 2003. For the past decade, he has dedicated himself exclusively to non-surgical cosmetic medicine. In addition to his practice, he serves as a faculty member at the Allergan Medical Institute.
His experience includes working as a former instructor for the Aesthetic Advancements Institute and creating training curricula for Ideal Esthetic Educators. He has also held roles as Lead Clinician, Corporate Trainer, and Corporate Training Developer for multiple national MedSpa practices.
