Exploring Life & Business with Dhayany Walker of LOVEPRENEUR

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dhayany Walker.

Hi Dhayany, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey as a LOVEPRENEUR—an entrepreneur committed to building both a thriving business and a strong marriage—wasn’t born out of ease. It was forged through pain, misunderstandings, and friction that nearly tore us apart.

When my husband, Demetrius, and I first started building our businesses, we didn’t realize how much the pressure of entrepreneurship would test our relationship. We were both ambitious, both passionate, and both carrying unspoken expectations of each other. The late nights, financial stress, and constant problem-solving started bleeding into our home life. Instead of working as a team, we often found ourselves on opposite sides—misunderstood, frustrated, and at times, emotionally distant.

There were moments we felt like business was winning, and love was losing. But instead of letting that break us, we chose to lean in, to do the hard work of understanding each other, healing from past wounds, and redefining success—not just in business, but in love.

It was through this struggle that LOVEPRENEUR was born. We realized that success in business means nothing if we’re failing at home. We made a commitment to build a life where love and entrepreneurship could coexist—not in competition, but in harmony. This meant shifting how we communicated, how we supported each other’s dreams, and how we prioritized our marriage in the midst of ambition.

But along this journey, I also discovered something deeper: confidence is the key to it all. I saw how self-doubt held so many women back—from pursuing their dreams, from speaking up in their relationships, from fully embracing the life they deserved. So part of my mission as a LOVEPRENEUR is helping women step into their power—to own their voice, trust their instincts, and build businesses and marriages with unshakable confidence.

Now, my purpose is clear: to help women create success without sacrificing the love that matters most, to embrace both ambition and partnership, and to stand boldly in their worth—as entrepreneurs, as wives, and as women

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the devil attacks us the most in two areas: finances and family. And when you’re an entrepreneur building both a business and a marriage, those two things are constantly being tested.
My husband, Demetrius, and I come from two completely different worlds. I graduated from Temple University and built my foundation in the corporate world, where everything was structured, strategic, and calculated. He, on the other hand, graduated from the streets of hard knocks—a risk-taker by nature, someone who learned survival and success through experience, not textbooks. While I was focused on organization and stability, he was all about taking big leaps and figuring it out along the way.
As you can imagine, this led to some serious friction. I wanted security, he wanted freedom. I wanted a plan, he wanted to bet on his instincts. And when money was tight, when business wasn’t flowing the way we hoped, or when unexpected challenges hit our family, those differences felt like war.
There were times we questioned if we could truly build a life together without one of us having to sacrifice who we were. But through those struggles, we learned to honor each other’s strengths instead of fighting against them. I brought structure to his vision, and he pushed me to take bigger risks. We learned that God placed us together for a reason—to balance each other, to refine each other, and to build something greater than just a business: a legacy.
Now, I use everything I’ve learned—both from my corporate background and from the trenches of entrepreneurship—to help other women navigate these same struggles. Because success isn’t just about strategy; it’s about faith, resilience, and knowing how to fight for what matters most.

We’ve been impressed with LOVEPRENEUR , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What should we know about your business?
I am the founder of LOVEPRENEUR, a movement and coaching platform designed to help both celebrity couples and entrepreneur couples build thriving businesses without sacrificing love. My mission is to show that success and love don’t have to compete—they can complement and strengthen each other.

What sets LOVEPRENEUR apart is that we don’t just focus on business strategies—we focus on relationship strategies too. Too many couples struggle because one partner is the visionary risk-taker while the other is the structured planner (just like my husband and me). We help couples understand each other’s strengths, communicate better, and create success together without feeling like they’re competing.

What am I most proud of brand-wise?
I am most proud of how LOVEPRENEUR is changing the way couples navigate business and love. Instead of success pulling relationships apart, we show couples how to turn their ambition into alignment and build a partnership that fuels both their personal and professional growth.

We’ve had the honor of helping both celebrity couples and entrepreneur couples through our coaching, resources, and events. Our work has been recognized on major platforms, including Black Enterprise, MTV’s Love & Hip Hop, FOX, and many others.
