Today we’d like to introduce you to Devaun Barnett.
Hi Devaun, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have always loved art. I purchased a camera from a mutual friend of my wife and I. I started taking pictures and i began to see the photos through an artistic lense. I began my journey of learning how to work a camera along with how to dissect photos. Dissect them from aspects fo shadows, contrast, and color variations. From here Eye See You Photography was born. After that i figured out what my lane was and continued to get better at my craft.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, there have been struggles. To master anything it takes doing something continuous everyday. That part is just the craft itself. On top of that y0u need to learn how to run the business side of your business. It has been a joy learning to do something I love doing. The struggles and trials have been worth it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a photographer. I specialize is Photoshoots. I love doing creative shoots (cosplay, bodour, outside nighttime). What sets me apart is there isnt anything I believe I cant. I also truly enjoy what i do.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years I see my shoots going national. I also want my photos to be put into galleries.
