Today we’d like to introduce you to Tarryn Hoff

Hi Tarryn, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m Tarryn, also known as “The Traveling Trainer” from Peachtree City Personal Training. With 25 years of experience in exercise psychology, I specialize in self-determination theory, physical fitness, and mindful health. I hold a PhD in exercise psychology and have been dedicated to personal training since 1999, helping individuals achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall well-being.

In addition to my work as a personal trainer, I am an adjunct doctoral professor at two different universities, where I have the privilege of teaching and mentoring future exercise psychologists. My passion for health and wellness drives me to continually explore new ways to inspire and support others on their fitness journeys.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Throughout my career, I’ve faced setbacks and adversity, but these experiences have only strengthened my resolve and deepened my commitment to my clients. My unconventional approach to personal training, combined with my role as an adjunct doctoral professor at two universities, allows me to bring a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to my practice. My journey has been one of resilience and continuous learning, and I’m proud to support and inspire others on their paths to health and wellness.

My approach focuses on the whole person, integrating physical training with psychological principles to foster not just physical transformation but also mental and emotional well-being. By bringing my services directly to clients’ homes, I ensure a convenient and comfortable environment, allowing for a more personalized and effective training experience. Whether it’s overcoming barriers to fitness or achieving specific health goals, my aim is to provide support and guidance that empowers my clients to thrive both physically and mentally.
