Today we’d like to introduce you to Phantasia Stewart.
Hi Phantasia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It has always been my dream to be singer. I knew I could be a star. I grew up in the church, so of course choir was not an option. Every school year I was in chorus. Didn’t miss a day, because of chorus. I remember being able to lead a song for graduation and being able to sing a solo song for my very own graduation. I’ve been writing my own music since I was 13 years old. From 13 to now, I would say I’ve grown drastically. Throughout my life, I’ve auditioned for different shows, such as American Idol, America’s Got Talent, and The Voice. Doing those auditions helped me grow as an artist. I am more confident than ever now. Being an artist can be difficult at times. Music and people change, buy when there is love involved how could anything go wrong. I eat, sleep, breathe, and think music all day long. I will only get greater. I went from singing background with my cousin to having my own music out for the world to hear. I have dropped multiple singles and 1 EP. My latest single can be found on all platforms “ Back 2 You “- Phantasia. I have my album release coming soon. My very first album, and I’m beyond grateful. My goal is to continue to grow as an artist into the artist I know I’m destined to be.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. As an independent artist with no real support, it’s very hard to maneuver. Everyone is looking for a certain look and I’m not that look, but that’ll never stop me. Someone is going to hear me and realize the passion in my performance. They will see that, I’m the next best thing smoking.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an upcoming RNB artist, who’s going to make it to your playlist. I am also a songwriter. I write for myself and help others as well. I am known for being Phantasia with a PH, with that powerhouse voice. The girl that switch up her singing styles. The girl that can also sing any genre and almost any range. I am most proud of how far I’ve come. It hasn’t been easy and life has been doing its big one, but God has been doing his biggest one. What sets me apart is my passion and my drive. I’m eager to learn more. I’m strong enough for this. I followed the 6 P’s: Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. I’ve planned for this, and I’m still planning. I want to build an empire.
