Today we’d like to introduce you to Shannon Poole.
Hi Shannon , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m an artist(singer,musician, writer) creator and media/brand marketor. As well as I shoot photography.
Lol I can do alot of different things.
I’m from Chicago, moved to Georgia in 2017
I guess the best way to start my story is from when I first discovered i was a creative person.
That happened at a young age around 8, my father taught me how to play piano. A couple years from that was drums. My father was a musician who played in groups and churches. My mother a writer and singer.
In my adolescent years I’ve been in groups did vocals and wrote with and for other artists. After I married and had my first child, I got back to my music; creating a solo project, an ep called “Initiation” one of the singles made it on local radio in Chicago. Shortly after that I got into blogging, editing and YouTube content creating. This was before everyone was doing it and it was popular. I still did my music for a while and that at the same time while working.
Around 2014 brands starting reaching out to do collaborations through media post I would post. Things kinda picked up with the youtube as far as content being done, me working on getting better at editing and now at this point photography. My father is a photographer so I already had an eye and idea of how it should be, I just started studying more of the logistics, getting the software and equipment at that point. So I started doing my own shoots, thumbnails etc. I got a few jobs shooting shows, and said “let me make a business of this”. So I started spvisualz media, photography and edit work. By this time I had a decent following, so I branched out into media marketing. I had alot experience with working with brands from YouTube, I wanted to start doing that for small businesses here in Atlanta. Help bring awareness to them, create content, and media marketing. I love creating in all of these ways. I’m naturally a creator and want to contribute to that in any way possible and inspire others to create and connect with what they are passionate about.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not always…
Some struggles are figuring out your audience, building momentum, and so much more not enough time here to speak on all of it. But if you be open to change and stay consistent in that but still be original it will work, and never loose your passion

Currently I’m known for content creating and media marketing.
My content is beauty/fashion lifestyle related and I’m now starting to include my spiritual journey as well. Which is my higher and most important journey it’s why I’m even here on this planet to help others with my pass struggles and story.
I’m proud of anything I’ve done. Because I was passionate about doing it, that’s why I started to begin with lol and I kept going.
My purpose and drive is what sets me apart. Nobody can have my purpose and destiny, we all have pur our journey to take
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Meditation always keeps me in my original state of being. That’s spirituality.
Music keeps me at my best, nature. I love nature,and the sun. John Remirez has amazing books on spritual warfare and those books have actually saved some situations personally…and prince. Yes Prince lol the prince. Wanna make me happy? Put on a prince song or video
